Housing Commission

The Black Mountain Housing Commission was established to provide advice and direction to the Black Mountain Board of Aldermen on housing issues. Particular emphasis of this commission is placed on developing strategic plans designed to address both the preservation of the existing housing stock and provision of a sufficient supply of affordable housing. The Housing Commission is also charge d with the duty of securing funding designed to assist in this effort. The Housing Commission consists of ten members.

Members: Irene White, Chair; Ellen Farrior: Vice Chair;  David Bassett; Ruth Gleeson, Dorothy Jones; Ronald Krantz; Dan Stitt;  Dawn Wilson

Meetings:
The Housing Commission meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. at Carver Community Center at 101 Carver Avenue.
