TOWN MANAGER

Black Mountain, NC (pop. 7,924). 
Growing community, 8 miles east of Asheville, located at the foot of Mt. Mitchell, the highest peak in the eastern U.S., seeking Town Manager.  Responsibilities include supervision and management of 71 full-time and 15-20 part-time employees in Departments of Administration, Finance, Police, Fire, Recreation, Planning and Public Services as well as management of over 10 million dollar budget. 
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage experienced management team.  Prefer MPA with significant public management experience.  Competitive salary and benefits, depending on qualifications and/or experience.
