Your donations help us maintain and preserve current apparatus, replace outdated firefighting equipment, and helps pay for advanced training for our members. Your tax deductible donations make a difference
For our residents, the obvious advantage of having a volunteer fire fighters supporting our paid staff is the thousands of dollars saved on salaries, benefits and pension liabilities. It also brings some other pretty amazing benefits. At a time in your life, when you are the most vulnerable, those who come to assist are your friends and neighbors. Whether it is something as straight forward as a carbon monoxide detector beeping in the middle of the night, or a fully involved structure fire, we respond… because you are members of our community.
Training: We are always in need of vehicles to train with for fires, extrication, and other vehicle accidents. If you have a vehicle that is no longer usable to you, consider donating it to the fire department for a tax deduction of standard book value.
Are you tearing down your home to build a new one? The fire department would love to have the opportunity to use the home before it’s torn down to use for training. There is a tax deduction benefit for this.
