Cragmont Park, previously known as Youth Center Park, was acquired by the Town of Black Mountain in 1933 and redeveloped in 1978. In 1979 the Town received a Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant to develop the property for recreation purposes. The grant funds were used to create the park you enjoy today which features tennis courts, basketball courts, pickle ball court, and a small ball field.
