Park Rhythms

COVID-19 Update: As North Carolina, and Buncombe County, continue to slowly reopen in phases, we realize that one of the last re-opening measures is lifting restrictions on large public gatherings. As a result of this, we have decided to cancel this year’s Park Rhythms Concert Series. Moving forward, we hope to confirm this year’s artists a place on next year’s lineup. By working together and staying safe in the process, we look forward to making our 2021 Park Rhythm Concert Series better than ever before. We appreciate your understanding of this decision and encourage you to support the arts and the artists in our community in any way possible during these times.

Each summer, Black Mountain Recreation & Parks (BMRP) presents their annual Park Rhythm Concert Series on Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Each concert is free and open to all ages. The series consist of four concerts in downtown Black Mountain and four concerts at Lake Tomahawk Park.

The 2020 series combines a diverse selection of genres that highlight the talents of North Carolina musicians, especially from the Asheville area. Of the eight concerts, five will feature artists who currently live in and around Asheville.
Below is the 2020 lineup with dates, artists, and locations listed.
