Description:

The Town of Black Mountain (Town) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from NC licensed and well qualified engineering firms (the “Firm”) pertaining to engineering and design, stormwater master planning, stormwater mapping, GIS modeling, capital improvement project (CIP) development and prioritization, funding identification, and grant administration services for the Black Mountain Stormwater Infrastructure Planning Project-SRP-SW-ARP-0055. The firm must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including Black Mountain ordinances and policies. Firms interested in performing these services must exhibit relevant experience with this type of work, as outlined below, and should emphasize both the experience and capability of the personnel who will perform the work. The Firm must be available to complete all the work and close the grant by the end of 2026.

Statements of Qualifications will be received by Town of Black Mountain, North Carolina, at 160 Midland Avenue, Black Mountain, NC 28711, until 2:00 p.m., local time, August 22, 2023, for the Black Mountain Stormwater Infrastructure Planning Project-SRP-SW-ARP-0055.

Qualifications:
Responding firms must be licensed to practice engineering by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors and have at least one staff member currently licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of North Carolina.
Special Requirements:
Responding firms or project teams shall submit SOQs demonstrating sufficient resources, expertise, experience, and qualifications providing the necessary range of engineering and support services to successfully complete the project.
